Loaner/Borrower Lists
Click the above link to view or download the Loaner/Borrower lists.  As of 4/15/2009 The Loaner/Borrower lists have now been co-located with the ORCHIDS Directories.  A single click will get you to the location where you can look at or download either.  There are still two Loaner/Borrower lists.  The first, sorted by category, is for those people looking for items they might need to borrow.  The second list, sorted by name, is intended to show you what you have in the list available to loan.

The Ocean Ridge Loaner/Borrower List has been transferred from Ridgetopper.com to ORCHIDS.  Primarily, this is the same list previously found on Ridgetopper.com.  However this list is no longer limited to members of PPOA.

The Loaner/Borrower List is intended to help all Ocean Ridge residents find and borrow items which they might temporarily need because others in the community are willing to Loan the items. 

In making the List available ORCHIDS in no way intends to manage the process of Loaning and Borrowing items.  The List is merely intended to put community Borrowers together with community Loaners.  Loaners have the responsibility to keep track of their items, who has borrowed them, and when to expect their return.  Borrowers have the responsibility to keep the items no longer than needed and to return them in as good a condition as when they were borrowed.

In transferring the Loaner/Borrower List to ORCHIDS  we have attempted to make a couple of improvements.  First we have added a category field for each item in the list.  Hopefully this will make it easier to find items you may wish to borrow.  Secondly we have added a capability on this web page for residents to add or remove items from their personal set of loaner items. 

One reminder -- the lists are in Adobe Acrobat format so that anyone visiting the web page can read them.  However, they are encrypted with the intention of limiting access to Ocean Ridge residents who have the password.  The password for the Loaner/Borrower lists is the same as for the ORCHIDS directories.  Hopefully this will make it easier for residents.
